How 365GMG uses cookies and local storage, what each category does, and how to change your choices.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We also use your browser’s local storage to remember your cookie choices and to keep a random session identifier while you browse. Together these let a site remember you between pages.

Some of these are strictly necessary for the site to work. Others are optional, and we only use them if you allow it.

The categories we use

365GMG groups cookies and local storage into three categories:

Strictly necessaryAlways active

Required to run the site: security, session handling, and remembering your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics

Helps us understand which pages and articles are used, so we can improve the site. Reported in aggregate only.

Preferences

Remembers choices you make on the site, such as display settings and form progress.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share usage information with advertising networks.

What we store, specifically

Session and security data — required to keep you signed in to the member or staff area and to protect your account. Strictly necessary.
Cookie choice — a record in local storage of the preferences you selected on this page, so we do not ask you again. Strictly necessary.
Usage measurement — a randomly generated session identifier and the pages visited, stored on our own servers. Optional, analytics category.
Interface preferences — choices that make the site easier to use, such as display settings and unsent form progress. Optional, preferences category.

Managing your choices

You can change your decision at any time using the cookie preferences control on this page, or from the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer. Turning an optional category off does not affect the strictly necessary cookies the site needs to run.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies from their settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site — including signing in — may stop working.

Changes to this policy

If we add or change a category of cookie we will update this page and, where required, ask for your consent again.
